Office of the Senior Court Registrar - Composition, appointment and term of office

The Senior Court Registrar is to be elected from the members of the body of Judicial Administration Clerks who have obtained at least category two, with a minimum of ten years’ experience.

His or her appointment is the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice, to which end information on the candidate to be appointed is to be obtained from the Governing Chamber of the Supreme Court and the Board of Court Registrars.

The same post of Senior Court Registrar cannot be held for more than ten years.
