What is the Governing Chamber

It is the highest internal government organ of the courts and tribunals of the Region of Murcia

It is composed of the president of the High Court of Justice, who presides this organ, the Presidents of the Divisions of the High Court of Justice for the Region of Murcia, the President of the Provincial Court, and by an equal number of Magistrates and Judges elected by the members of the judicial career who serve in the Autonomous Community. The Secretary of the Government of the High Court of Justice for the Region of Murcia is also part of this Division.

Boards of Governance will meet at least twice a month unless there are pending matters and as may times as may be necessary in order to discuss urgent issues for the administration of justice, when deemed necessary by the Chief Justice of the High Court of Justice, when requested by a third part of its members submitting a proposal stating the grounds for their request indicating the matters to be transacted thereat or when requested by the Secretary of Governance in order to discuss issues which refer to judicial officers or to Court Registrars who report to him. Notice of the meeting will be made by the Chief Justice indicating the matters to be discussed.
